ImgBurn is one of the most recognized applications in the world. It is used for recording the previously created images onto CDs and DVDs in the Windows system. The program supports all the optical disk drives available on the market (CD and DVD) as well as the majority of the popular formats, for instance BIN, ISO, CDI, DI, GI, IMG, LST, MDS, NRG, PDI, UDI etc.
Being a reliable program, ImgBurn offers quite advanced functions related to image burning. It allows us to fully remove the entire content of CDs and DVDs (rewritable), effectively dealing also with double-layer disks.
The application enables us to quickly and efficiently burn the previously created disk images with the speed offered by a given carrier or optical disk drive. It also supports an ordinary burning mode so that we can add some common files and folders. This also enables us to create images from physical CDs/DVDs in popular formats such as ISO, IMG or BIN. After the burning process is completed, ImgBurn carefully checks the accurracy of the data recorded.
The formats supported are: APE, BIN, CDI, CDR, CUE, DI, DVD, FLAC, GCM, GI, IBQ, IMG, ISO, LST, MDS, NRG, PDI, UDI, WV.
It is certainly a good alternative to some paid applications and offers practically the same potential as its paid counterparts. It is simple and intuitive and does not pose any problems and the good news for the Polish users is that they can install the Polish version.
