Publisher description

ICON: ObjectDock

ObjectDock 2.0

A lot of computer users having Linux or Windows operating systems are probably dreaming of enjoying the same functions that Apple offers and vice versa. Computers with Mac OS X have got quite an interesting application that combines the benefits of a quick startup from the shortcuts available on the desktop. This function is called dock, and it enables us to quickly choose the most frequently used system applications. Besides, it is esthetic and looks nice on the desktop (making it a much cleaner place).

There is such an application for Windows systems (Linux has also been recently equipped with an in-built quick application start-up), and it’s called ObjectDock. It is like an Apple project enriched with some new functions. This application provides us with a quick and efficient access to the system tools, most frequently opened folders and programs.

It looks really simple and lightweight but at the same time conforms to the standards of modern applications. We can also customize its looks by means of an appropriate skin. We can select some additional elements which enhance the program’s potential, such as the weather forecast, TV guide or world news.
Every single icon can be either enlarged or made smaller. The program is operated in a simple and intuitive way. When using this application, our work with the computer becomes faster and more comfortable.
