TrayIcon Pro 2.1

TrayIcon Pro is a small, but versatile freeware program created by MetaProducts Corporation, and its main aim is to enable the user to open their favorite programs or frequently used folders and files by means of a simple menu located in the system tray, next to the clock.

The program has the form of an icon located in the system tray. After clicking on it, the program displays a list of added programs that are considered important by the user. The program is based on the user’s decisions – he/she decides which program, file or folder they want to add. It can be added by means of an efficient creator that enables the user to quickly and comfortably create the lists of applications that are important for them. At the same time the program does not take up much disk space and functions quickly and efficiently. Its great advantage is also the possibility of having it adjusted to our own requirements: we may, for instance, make it start automatically as soon as the system starts. This is a very convenient option.

As has already been mentioned, its interface is convenient to use and allows the user to quickly add new programs. An additional function integrated with Windows Explorer is the possibility to minimize every single window to the system tray by means of the TrayIcon Pro icon added to the window header. It considerably facilitates the organization of the Windows command line which tends to be difficult to navigate.
